Timeflower offers a variety of advanced features for managing your photos. Users can organize their photos with albums, including the option to add a photo to multiple albums. Additionally, users can pin albums for quick access, view photos taken on the same day throughout the years, and display selected photos and albums on Home Screen widgets.

The "On This Day" feature also supports the Chinese calendar.

One standout function is the ability to easily collect receipts, tickets, or design ideas by capturing photos with the built-in camera or saving images from webpages directly to your photo library. Timeflower facilitates organizing these photos through album categorization, similar to tagging, allowing for quick sorting and retrieval. Furthermore, users can pin specific albums, search albums by keyword, and utilize Smart Albums such as Recents, Favorites, Screenshots, Selfies, Panoramas, and more.

The app provides convenient features such as the option to delete empty albums created by other apps, a random photo mode for a fun browsing experience, sharing photos to Instagram Stories, and the ability to hide photos in a dedicated "Hidden" album with customizable visibility settings.

Moreover, Timeflower offers security features like Face ID or Touch ID locking for the app. Users can create simple photo widgets directly from the app and enjoy additional features like Dark mode and Light mode. The iPad version allows split view and multiple windows.

Another useful feature is the option to increase brightness in full-screen mode for enhanced photo viewing. Timeflower emphasizes user privacy by not collecting data or utilizing third-party libraries, resulting in a relatively small app size.
